Hello all,
i also searched saltwaterfish.com store first as not to cause an issue.
I was out looking for this stuff.. HD, Lowes, OSH, Target, Petsmart, i couldnt find it.. where do you guys get it? also i bought some LOCTITE INSTANT GLASS GLUE (Contains Cyanoacrylate). Says hold parts together 15-60secs((instant?)) then cure for 24hours and wait one week before using item in dishwasher..can this be used?by the way im needing to use this to glue acrylic(lucite) together.
Thanks
Tony

Any acrylic fabricator has it, and will usually be happy to sell you a can. Some glass shops that sell acrylic can get it too. I used to build stuff like that, but now I just let one of the local fabricators do it. It is not much more than buying the parts, and he can bend it too. I do think the guy that builds my stuff is very reasonable though. I just ordered an overflow for a tank I'm working on. The overflow will be 28" tall, and 12 x 6. He is cutting rounded "vents" for the water to flow through, and gluing in slots for the strainers to fit into for $33.

Thanks all for the info.
Sonny,
cost on your overflows is less than i spent on acrylic, but i have lots left over for other uses

Yeah, but now I don't have to store all of that acrylic for the 5 years down the road I will need it... plus I never had to cut or glue a thing... I'm getting lazy in my old age.
