Hello everyone, I bought a green goby and a neon goby, I acclimated them good. I put some water from my tank every ten minutes for like an hour and half, and today just right now I was checking on them on how they where doing and they got some white spots, its ick I guess. Does anyone knows why this happend. Could it be that I have poor water quality or something? I have been putting some bacterias too and some other ones too that are for when you put new fish. I hope it just temporary and it goes away just like the ones that I used to have before. That they got the white spots but went away a little bit later.:nervous:

Mad, ich is a common parasite that comes in on fish from the ocean. Poor water quality doesn't have anything to do with it, but poor water quality can contribute to the fishes' ability to deal with ich.
Please take a look at the FAQ Thread and the posts on Quarantine as well as ICH.
