I had left some tanks at my parents basement from when I had fresh water fish and breed bettas. All that was left was a 2.5g, 5g and the 25g. One 10g apparently broke and the other 10g my mom gave away to her friend. I sold my 30g when we moved the time before last and other then my 170g DT I have 2 more 2.5g one of which has the longest living male guppy. I swear I just want to dump it in the tank for food since it's annoying to look after but after all the moves its gone through and my son *lol* it desevres to live.
Anyway I had decided that I really need to get that clown out so s/he can heal. The chromis doesn't bug anyone else so he can stay put until I can get to the IFs.
I was worried about keeping a 10g stable, can it be done in a 5g? I'd use some bio-balls in the filter, some of the sand and some real small live rock out of my DT. Oh had I have water waiting in a pail from my last water change that I can use.
Also for just a fish does it matter what typer of light it is?

as for the 5g, why not? people keep small tanks all the time, you just have to stay on top of top-offs and maintence. as for the light for a fish only, no it doesnt matter

I just know the bigger the tank the more forgiving.
I'll have to set it up tomorrow. I thought hubby put it in the garage with the rest of the stuff but it must still be in the car truck which he took today.
