Well I done did it

I have never fragged anything before and since I started dealing with corals I've been itching to do something. So last night my roommate and I were looking at the tank and I told him I was going to chop up my single mushroom. I keep saying it day after day and he keeps asking me questions it that really works. So last night before we went out to the bar (BUG JAR, Rochester NY!) I grabbed a new razor blade and lopped the head off. Tossed it on a plate and cut it directly down the center. I put the two pieces on the sand bed in a low current area and they seem to be doing what I've always read.
Taking the cap off was a little hard because the shroom bunched all up and the stalk was down in a cravis. I did kind of a kack job but I'm not to scared. It looked like there were intestines in there. Think it'll be OK?
Cutting the cap in half was a sinch. It slimed up real good and I got them back in the tank. All shriveled up in the corner on the sand bed. My roomate is all nervous and keeps checking up on them.
I said to him, "here's your biology lesson of the day" and just started hacking.

i have never fragged anything either but it sounds like you did what you were supposed to with the mushroom. I have heard that sometimes they can slime off if you super glued them down. Mushrooms are pretty dang harty. I had one naturaly split and it took about a week but then couldnt even tell.
