I lost my LMB 2 Sat. ago. Been so upset about it. He jumped out of the tank and I found him on the glass top where the cheato soap dish was hanging. Stupid soap dish. I took out the soap dish holding the cheato. I put the cheato down in the corner in the back. I think it might of caused his accident. I had him for almost 3 years I think. He had such a great personality. What gets me with guilt the most about him is that I think I heard him jump out. He always sucked the algae at the surface and when he swam back down, his tail would flip out of the water making this swish sound. I heard that Sat night and just looked over at the tank. The lights came on Sun. and I always liked to find him. He blended right in and sometimes he was just staring at me. I looked all over for him. Then I saw him on the glass. Man, did I cry. My yellow tang misses him. He is mostly hanging out on the right side of the tank with the clowns.
Been so paranoid lately about buying a new fish and putting them in the tank without quarantine. I never used a quarantine tank before. But, after reading so many horror stories on here, I am afraid now to buy new fish and just putting them in. Hopefully after my 10 gallon tank cycles to breed amphipods for the mandarin, I can use that to stick the new fish in.
I miss that guy.

Sorry for your loss, I love my Lonnie the LMB. I just love the way he stares at me, too.

Sorry to hear it. Isn't it funny how attached we become to the fish. I had Dummy my midas blenny jump a few months ago. Found him on the shag. We called him dummy because he would rest on this elephant ear that would close up on him with just his head sticking out. Then he would swim away only to back right in to the ear.
R.I.P. Dummy

RIP Mr. Wiggles...
We just lost Orion, our Midas Blenny, yesterday.
Looks like we didn't have one side of the eggcrate wedged in all the way and he jumped through and found the hole in the back of the canopy. I found him first thing in the morning, so needless to say, I was unhappy all day.

Sorry to hear about Orion. I was thinking about getting one of those instead of the LMB but I have been reading that they jump a lot. I always thought mine was too fat to jump. I still think it was that soap dish which he probably swam next too and maybe hit it and jumped.
