i would make a sump out of a basic tank and scratch the wet/dry, or purchase a ready-made sump. i'd also scratch the cannister filter, and UV sterilizer, and purchase a better skimmer.
another word of advice is to buy 2 smaller heaters instead of 1 large one. the idea is, if one fails, the other will continue to sustain the tank until you have addressed it.

I would nix the wet/dry and the UV sterilizer and upgrade the skimmer and build a sump/refugium. Its up to you on the canister they aren't needed but I prefer to run one on my tank to help clear the water if its a choice between upgrading the skimmer or keeping the canister I would upgrade the skimmer.

could i just use the wet/dry as a sump by taking the bioballs out??
It has been done before. Just measure everything out and make sure everything will fit. Post some pics so you can get a more definite answer on this
