Went to the Baltimore aquarium

I must say, I was not impressed this time. There was hardly any nice tanks, and in the tanks, the water was all dingy. Anyways, it was much better when I was there 3 years ago. Needless to say, we all had a great time, and my 2 year old LOVED it. Just thought I would share some pictures.

Thanks guys, and yes, it was duct tape, it was all over the place. That huge puffer was bigger then my sons head, and I think he wanted to eat my son.

I will take this opportunity to brag.
They (The National Aquarium, Baltimore) were setting up a Caribbean tank and asked me to pick a fish to be the centerpiece of the display. I could choose anything I felt was suitable as long as it was from the Caribbean. They gave me a 3 month time line. I got a male Queen Angel from the Bahamas. He was unconscious when he came in but I revived him, which is pretty easy. You just rock them back and forth in the water. He had a little lymphosistist (I can fix it but not spell it) on his dorsal which we removed. He recovered beautifully and I sent him after a month of observation. That was 1990, the last I heard about him was that in 95 he was 18" and a visitor favorite.
As you can imagine getting to choose a fish that the National Aquarium was going to build a display around was a huge honor and the highlight of my career.

i was there about two years ago and was really really impressed. my favorite tank was the "pacific island reef" i think thats what the tank was called, not sure though, but its on the second level and you had tons of pics of it. what all was bad about it this time, just the water? nice pics though, i cant wait until my trip to atlanta to take the behind the scenes tour

XDAVE, thats so cool. There were alot of triggers, and they were all very nice. I am sure your trigger was still there.

Justin, this time, there was not as much nice stuff to see as the last time I was there, and the water was all foggy, something was just not right, but otherwise, we had fun, the 2 year old didnot know any diffrent, and had a great time, and thats what really mattered.
