guys any suggestions on where to get a 210 reef ready that will not cost a a arm and a leg i will be upgrading in about 3 months.
also any suggestions on what type of pump to get.
the lfs said to get a dolphin and i would only need one. it pumps 3600 gallons and runs about $380. is this a resonable price for the pump.
also this may sound like a silly question but can i use a swimming pool pump.
I have an extra one that pumps 1800 gph.

Hi nu2
I would suggest getting a Oceanic RR 215. You can get these at pretty much all shops. Just wait for a decent sale and go for it. I paid 800 for RR set up.
Pumps: I do not like power heads, so I went with a dart pump which works is plenty for the tank.
Hope this is helpful.

You should be able to find a 210 gallon reef ready at any local fish store.
Out of respect to the owners, links are not allowed to be posted here. I do not know really anyone that buys their tank online, though.
The dolphin pump is an excellent one, and the price is not too bad. I would be hesitant about using the pool pump however.
