Ok please correct me if I am wrong, because I don't want to do the wrong thing here. I was just at this *** store and they claim to have the largest reef tank in Michigan ---http://**** aquaticdiscoveries**** /----
one of the employees says not to use a wet* dry filter with a reef tank? I have always read that the wet* dry filter is a key ingrediant for a flourishing reef tank.
Please advise!!!!

I'm new to this I went to aquatic discoveries the guy said I could not convet my 20 gal.hex to reef so he sold me a fish only system, UGF, tetra 2 filter, CC and 4 damsles. After doing some research( I wish I had found this place first)I bought JBJ lighting got rid of the hang on filter and UGF. and CC. Put on a power head.Put in LR and LS. That was 2 weeks ago. I went to tropicrium(very well priced) I got 9 snails and 7 hermits for $16. I have 2 feather dusters growing on the rock and a little white thing that looks like a snow flake. I really enjoy watching the tank can hardley wait till I can add corals.
