cant you hang it on the back of your tank? my remora c skimmer is on my tank, but i originally had it hang on the wet/dry. i dont see the problem with it if there is room.
if there is enough room to hold the skimmer yes but you may need to go to a different model for it to fit. if not you can add it to the back of the tank as stated.
