Wet/Dry Filter

I am currently having parameter problems with my Fluval 305. It is not working well at all, and I know that canisters aren't that good. I was looking at this wet/dry filter made by EcoSystems. Does anyone have it? How is it working out for you ?

IMO, you will do better with a refugium with LRR and cheato. Many end up converting their wet/drys to refugiums. You can DIY a fuge for the same or less even than a wet/dry.
