wet dry noise

I got a 90g for x-mas and just got it up and running. question is the water running through the return hose makes alot of noise ( sounds like the toilet is running ) is this right if not what is wrong??

If it looks like vacuum cleaner hose, that is always going to be noisy hose. You can try adapting to standard nylon hose, or braided nylon hose from the hardware if that is the case.
