wet/dry..or extra canister filter

just a question to all of you salt water lovers! I am just looking for more of an opinion than anything. I have a 72 gal bow front tank..had it running for a little over a year now. I am constantly reading and hearing about running a sump and or a wet/dry filter. I do not have either. I do have a good canister filter (can't think of the name off the top of my head), but i have also heard that some people with the same size or near the same as my tank will use two canister filters rather than having the wet dry pump just to decrease the bioload. What are your opinons on the matter? Just interested in hearing what you have to say :) Thanks

Are you having problems keeping water parameters in check? Canisters are known to be nitrate traps. I have a couple wet drys, and the only thing I like about them (more than a canister that is) is the fact I don't have to rinse or replace the filter pads as often, but if your parameters are in check...don't fix what ain't broke. I have never run an actual sump per se'...the wet/dry's are working so...There's my .02
