Wet/Dry or fuge

I just got a 75 drilled witha wet/dry filter. I have heard that a Fuge is beter for a reef tank than a Wet/dry. Is this true, and if so how do I convert a wet/dry to a Fuge. The wet/dry has 3 chambers in a "U" shape flow. you go into the frount left corner to a series of water overflows, then to a drip into bio balls on the right end. Then to back right holding out to the pump. Any ideas? I am just starting to cycle water then sand and stone (75 lbs) befor i move my critters from my 46 and 20 gallon together into the bigger tank.
Thanks in advance

right before the return you could put a small baffle there and then use that for a section for a fuge. So the water would drip down on the bio-balls and then into the fuge section and then return. Do u have a pic of the wet/dry?
