Not sure what to go with. Read too many threads. too much info and my brain is too small! I have a 55g and a fluval 404 canister filter. i will have live rock and sand, corals and fish in the 55 . i think i want a refrugium under it or should it be a wet dry filter. I have a 44g, 33, 30 and a 20 as extra tanks to use. I will get a bigger tank so i'm thinking to use the 44. is my fluval enough filter with the refugium or is it too much work to maintain?

You could use the canister filter. But with a good fuge, you wont need it. The largest tank you can fit under the stand would be the sweetest! Defintly the fuge with maybe a little wet/dry compartment if you like.

dsb may cause crashes if not stirred up alot and bioballs create nitrates or nitrites...i forget...
