wet/dry Q

I have a 55 fish only, 5 pounds of LR. A freind of mine inherited a 150 tank with a brand new wet/dry system. He wants to give me his current wet/dry filter for free, but it has no pump. The filter is good for up to 75 gallons. Any recommendations for what size pump. Eventually there will be alot more LR in the tank, if thats important.

go with the rio 1700. the water flow can be adjusted

i believe his tank is only 55 and his friends was 150. i'm not for sure but i think a mag7 would probably do it, i guess it will matter more on how big the id of the overflow is and the max height you"ll be pumping the water up. i agree with kip also don't get a rio.
