Wet/Dry Ques
I have an amiracle wet/dry I would like to know how high should the water be.
Should the 1/4 of the bio-balls be submersed in water
or
should the water line be just under the bio balls??

I keep mine with the bottom 1-2 rows of balls under.

Either way. I keep a bit more water in mine just so I dont have to keep topping off the water all the time. If it gets too low I get bad cavitation down toward the pump intake and bubbles galore in the tank. (LOTS of water flow)

I have a home-made wet dry made with a rubbermaid container ( 38 gal) that I have placed a bulkhead in and cut out the lid to fit over an old commercial food container full of bio balls. I am running the box of balls about2 inches from the eater line but i do keep my sump standing with about 6 inches of water in it for reasons of top off. I havent heard of the balls being submersed in the water but it may be being done. My water had always tested crystal clear and without problems
