Wet/Dry Question????

I bought a Aqua Clear 200 Wet/Dry today. I set it up and it was running fine. When I added more water to the tank, the sump filled up. Why is that?? So now I cant have as much water in my tank as I did before. I removed some water and the sump went back down to the desired level.

What size pump, and what size tank?

you have to adjust your prefilter box in the tank! if you raise it up higher, less water in your tank and if you make it lower, more water in your tank!

lagatbezan, thanks for the info. Actually, I had to raise the prefilter to adjust for the water increase. That was easy enough to fix. Too bad this damn skimmer is so hard to dial-in.
