wet-dry to fuge

I am currently running a wet-dry filter on my 150 reef and want to switch to a fuge over the summer... My question is will i have spikes in my levels if i just take out all of my bio-balls and filtration from the wet-dry and switch it right on over the the fuge? or do i need to keep the bio balls and put them in the fuge for the first like month or anything like that?

Dont take the bio balls out all at once: just a few every week or so as you transition. The key is allowing your tank to adjust to changes slowly. If you have Live Rock/Live Sand that really helps cushion things because they can gradually take up the slack.
