wet/dry?

I have emperor 400's with bio wheels. Are those considered wet/dry's?? I hate to keep kicking a dead dog but the more I read, the more confused I am.

Thanks anthem! Now I'm really lost. LOL If I don't have a sump set up (which I don't and can't have), then I can consider it a wet/dry for my system?? All I have is those 2 emperors in the tank for filtering. They are 400's, says filters 400 gallons per hour..!?!? The tank is a 125....
