wh7 wiring and paint?

Ok so I finally got all my stuff in. In it all, I got the workhorse7 ballasts (2) and 8 german endcaps. I'm wondering how the workhorse7's wire up to the endcaps? I guess the white and black wires tie into a power plug that plugs into the wall? And the other two sets of yellow/red wires plug into the caps? Does it matter which way they plug in? The Fulham website didn't help much.. I can't find the right kind of bulbs in their drop-down list for the wiring diagrams.
And, what should I paint the inside of my canopy? I am staining the rest of it with a dark walnut color.. looks real nice. And then I'll polyurethane it all. Should I do the same on inside of canopy, or should I paint it white?? I'm using URI VHOs, so I don't think reflecting light back down is a problem since they have internal reflector?
Wew... any help?
thanks!

I have a wiring diagram that I drew up at home for this ballast, but if you are in a hurry, call up fulham . . they will walk you through it step by step. I can post it later for you if you want, but I am at work right now . . . and will be all day.
I painted the inside of my canopy using an ultra high gloss exterior latex enamel. I use URI bulbs as well and the white makes a BIG difference. The coloration of the tank is much better IMO as compared to a friend who did not paint the inside.

the diagram would be great! I can't do it until I get my bulbs in anyways.
I'll go pick up a can of that ultra high gloss latex. The bulbs dont' get too hot for it huh?
thanks

not in my experience. I have run it like this for about 18 months now and no issues. the ballast is even mounted in the canopy along with the bulbs as well.
The brand of paint that I used is "Behr"

Ok I'll go check it out. Did you paint the entire inside of the canopy white? Or just the topboard? The sides and the front, would it be ok to stain that?

I painted every nook and cranny on the inside. Plus it will prevent the wood from molding and rotting.
check out the thread about a workhorse 5 I just bumped up. THe only difference for you will be that instead of the jumpers being on the same end, they will be on opposite ends.
