What a score...

So off craigslist I just scored a 55 gallon, 40lb live rock tank, with stand, 20 gallon tank and stand, tang, two mated clown fish and some others and about $300+ worth of extra items. WHAT A SCORE for $250. SO anyway, my question is what is the best way to move this for a 30 min drive? Any advice?

plastic storage bins and some frineds with trucks and/or suv's

some battery powered pumps, jets will help also.

a truck....but really a truck and you may lose the mated pair if you don't currently have a tank to put them in right away. I fish can however survive in bag for up to 48 hours or so. If you LFS has a holding tank for you that is another option.

Well, all the items are going into my expedition in on shot....so I figure I can get them all and all the water and transport it all.......you really think the clowns would not survive that? Remember the tank is being broken down, moved and then set back up instantly.

Ok and are you bringing all that water back with you????If not I'd keep at least 20 gals of that water and put them in a QT tank with that water. While you put the tank thru a cycle.
