What a wonderfull discovery

I am so mad. I just learned the bulbs in my light hoods can only be replaced by 55 watt bulbs. Currently have three 55 watt ones working and when those went I wanted to get something better maybe 65 watt or 96 watt would be nice but no the stupid company made it for a max of 55 watt bulbs.

Are these PCs? I believe you can use the the 65watts as well as the 96watts. I personally do not have one but from what I've read and heard, the 55watt is the maximum the ballast can "light". So if you place a 65watt or 96watt lamp in there, it just will not be as bright. Besides, the 55watts and 65watts are basically interchangeable so you do not have to worry about that. Fire an email to CSL for confirmation, I'm sure I'm correct on this.
