what about retro kits

I have been looking for a way to get a metale hilade system for a cheap price just to get me by for a few months.
i have seen mh retro kits they seem to have the right wattage and they seem to be in my price range for the time being. would something like

work for like 2-3 months while i get the cash 2geather for a good mh.

Nothing wrong with retro. the aluminum housing doesnt help anything,
Electonic ballasts
Good relectors
Quality bulbs
Quiet fans for cooling
other then that all MH are the same. They just differ in bulb configuration, wattage, spectrum, par and all the other misc that is user choice for prefference. Retro is definatley the way to go when on a budget.
