can someone please tell me what frags are?

A FRAGment of a coral.

take a full sized healthy coral, break of a small piece that you hope (and pray) will turn into a full size coral and/or take some polyps off of hte mian colony and try to start a new colony and those removed polypsand/or small pieces are frags.
