What are my Crabs doing

I recently added a few new hermit crabs to my tank and I now one of the new crab is stuck together with one of the old ones. I pulled them apart once and placed them in different areas but they found each other and are stuck together again. Are they doing the Nasty or something?

Update, The crabs are finnally seperated, only after going another roundlast night. I actually saw them getting it on. The crab on the top was moving up and down. I belive one is a blue leg and the other is a scatlet leg. If the have babies will there be both type of crabs born?
