What are the best types of things to grow in a fugarium?

I am going to start building my refugium and sump and would like to know what the best things I should grow in there are for filtration and for keeping the show tanks fish and corals really happy and healthy.

Pods - for natural live food for the main tank
Macro algea - like culerpa for nitrate reduction
Mangroves - for nitrate reduction
A few snails - they might possably breed in safty
Worms - if you have a sand bed in there.

Get as many types of caulerpa as you can find in there. Your lfs should have some for sale, or maybe they can give you a few strands from their refugium. Or, if you have friends who have it ask them.

You can add some pepermint shrimp in there they breed like crazy.
