xenia, any tang (hence the wording in my name above), plate corals (fungi), and brain corals
all these seem to always die on me and I have given up on all of them

6 line wrasses. I have tried them twice, both after 2 hr acclaimations, and within 48 hrs. Both seemed to do fine for first day, swimming eating etc, then just began swimming funny, then went belly up, all water conditions were good. My lfs said he never has luck with them in his home tank either.

OK...I think we have similar tanks! We can keep all sorts of inverts, corals, leathers, polyps, etc...
But the 2 fish we've tried have died within 2 hours (and we did the acclimation to a "T"). BUT...they were sort of compromised when they arrived from the diff. internet sites we ordered them from. So we're going to give the LFS a shot & see if their fish do better in our tank...
