What are these orange bubbles?

I just noticed that I have a couple of these guys in my tank and was wondering what they are. They seem to have gotten bigger ever since I put them with the LR in my tank. Any ideas? Sorry for the clarity of the pictures!!

It is had to say from the pics, but they might be sponges.

My tank has been setup since Saturday but I introduced the LR to the tank yesterday.

They look a bit like sponges. Could just be hitchiker sponges that was already on the rock.

I have to agree that they look like hitchiking sponges. Regardless of what it is, if you just added the rock yesterday then it was on the rock before you got it, it didn't grow there overnight.

They aren't bad for the tank, are they? If they are, how do I get rid of them without causing them to multiply?

nope, they are harmless, colorful additions. they usually end up dying off over time as there is little special care that can be done to keep them alive.

looks like that red ball sponge they sell on here only its orange. i was thinking of getting some for my tank
