What are they?

They are growing on the LR,and are about 1 in.in size and are allways out.Also,my Cheato is growing in my fuge after i switched the light.How much of the fuge should i let it cover before i cut it back? :help:

Neomeris annulata or sometimes refered to as caterpillar weed. Its just a macro algae.
Let your chaeto grow to fill at least half of the fuge, then prune half.

Not a problem.
I have had many Neomeris annulata, I find that my emerald crabs and tang mow them down when they see them.
I have a 55 gallon fuge with chaeto and sometimes remove a 5 gallon bucket of it when I prune.
