Well I am bored since the wife and kids are out of town and I was wondering what your hobbies are besides fish tanks. I know some of you like reptiles, dogs, etc. So list them all!

It's just a type of glass that is cranberry colour. It was treasured back in the old days because it was made with gold and had a delicate mixing ratio to get the right colour. It's still made... but I only collect the antique.

I have a small collection of blown ruby glass, I just like the color. In the middle of the bottom is a set
of clear/cranberry drink straw/stirrers. The clear tubes end with cranberry spoons and have a hole near the spoon so you could stir your drink, then use it as a straw. Also a couple of crap pieces (swan) just to occupy space.

Seems like a lot of my hobbies kind of blend in with each other, like kayaking, birding and photography or cooking, gardening and home-brewing. My favorite hobby over the years has been racing my sports cars, but a move far away from events and cost have kind of created a perfect storm and I have decided to give up on that hobby this summer, which is going to give me the new project of returning my race car back into a street car and more than likely selling it.....sniff.
