What is just getting into a pond? I have lots of fun out at my pond, especially when I clean it and see how many things live in it and have also came up with a big handful of snake twice. Not as diverse as a coral reef, but still pretty cool.

Back yard pond about 12' in diameter with a falls and stream. Just finished it last fall and the few lillte fish I tossed in survived the winter. Now I need to work on getting plants put in and around it and maybe throwing some snails in. Wanted to do tree frog tadpoles, but the wife is afraid of frogs. That probably pisses me off more than anything she's said or done in nearly 16 years we've known each other. KILLER FROGS

You don't want frogs, trust me. I have a small pond about half the size of yours, and during the summer, the frogs in the neighborhood find it. All you hear ALL NIGHT is, "crooooak, croooak" from five or six frogs. Drives my daughter nuts because it's just on the other side of her bedroom.

I am seeing some nice hobbies. I should have added paintball shooting. I enjoy doing it very much but don't get to do it as often as I would like. I am getting ready to modify my gun so the enemy better be prepared the next time I come out.

God, I'd love that. Just don't want to deal with the wife. She wouldn't even let me have an eel in the fish tank.
I'd like to find a couple crawdads to toss in.

I do like it, I have hundreds of tree frogs and chorus frogs singing around here everynight this time of year, throw in the coyotes about 10 P.M. and I have some nice music to go to sleep by. I really enjoy my pond and my neighbor and I have talked about digging a long skinny pond along our property line that would be about 15ft wide by 250 ft long, someday I'm sure we will get around to it.
