I have a 250 HQI and 2 95 watt VHO's on a 46 and it looks awesome. All my corals and fish are doing great. You can do what ever you please.

i no its almost to much light but its the only thing i can find tht is mh and reasonable. i would like to do sps at one time or another but then again im off to college in in 2 years...
so maybe i should pay the 109 and get the light tht were mentioned up top. they were pc i think and 260 watts.
i would like abot 3-400 watts of mh but when i find them i need about 800$ to buy 2 250 mh lights and im not looking to spend almost everythign i have made this summer. i am looking to put money away as well.

i looked up the lights you're talking about, and i'd say go for it. that's what i'll eventually go with. just don't run the mh's all the time.

the light you're talking about isn't 760w MH, its a mixture of MH and PC's. so if you run alternate the light cycle (pcs on at 7?, mh's on at 11?, mh's off at 4? and pc's off at 6 or 7?) you're evap should be cut down quite a bit.

all together it 760?
well if it is to much i can run the 2 250 mh lights and not use the other ones.. or i could just do as u said with changin them and running them at diff times...
so maybe its worth the investment,,

i think in the case with MH and pc lights its still going to matter. im not going to be able to keep lots of things alive with only 70w of MH on my 28.
spectrum and kelvin is in the bulb
i have 250w MH light on my 28 with 2x65w PC bulbs
you also have to look at how deep your tank will be too
