I've used Oatey rain-r-shine....(Its the blue stuff at your local HWS)

if pvc cement works for pipes that run drinking water through em we better be ok on aquarium use or uh oh

All industry approved PVC cements are okay to use for fish tanks provided you let them fully dry before running water in them. Glue, wait 24 hours, and you're golden.
