I have a 55 gallon tank and want to purchase a new clown fish cause mine recently passed away.., What would be a good choice to get. I dont want to get a false pecular or tomato/cinamon clownfish. I was looking at Black Saddleback, Clarkii (any size) aquacultured and wild, Gold Striped Maroon Aquacultured and Wild, Sebae Clownfish - Wild. Also what is the difference between wild and aquacultured. Will they along with my 3 striped damsels and my wrasse.
let me know what you huies think.
~Thanks for reading. Yours Truely...

personally my favorites are the black and white but its up to you really.
The difference between wild and aquacultered is that wild are wild caught fish from the ocean. aquacultured are tank bred. I prefer the aquacultured because they are allready adapted to living in an aquarium.
out of curiosity why did your other clowns die?

Some type of parasite infection. i had this tank for about 3 yrs and it came out of no where. I got it out after a while lika month or so and all ym other fish look fine and seems to be in the clear. But it was weird i hav no idea where it came from.

i like wild on the other hand because most of them host anemones. if i was u i would get a pair of black saddle backs. i have always wanted a pair but there where always clowns that i wanted more. saddle backs have a very distinctive way of swimming that's different than other clowns. most clowns swim side to side but saddles swim up and down like ur riding a horse thus the name saddle back, and they look like they have saddles on there backs. there adorable.
