What corals can I keep with 190 watts of VHO lighting?

My tank is only a 45 gallon. It's 36x12x24. I have a 20 gallon sump underneath with another 10-12 gallons of water in it along with a refugium. My lighting is 2 VHOs at 95 watts a piece for a total of 190 watts. Can anyone tell me what kind of corals I can keep in that kind of lighting? Also, if possible, could you posts pics of them so I know what they are? I hear talk about all these corals but dont have a clue what they look like.

I disagree. I doubt you'd be able to keep any stony corals with only 190 watts. I'd say your best bets are Zoos, Xenias, yellow polyps, maybe a leather, mushrooms, stuff like that. Just look for these items on this site under the corals section for pictures.

Tank is fairly deep at 24 inches ( but narrow and short) so you would have to keep LPS hard corals mid to high level. Your tank demensions and wattage are the same as my 30 gallon except the tank is 6 inches deeper (PC vs VHO too but on paper watt for watt theres hardly a difference though people say VHO work better in practice). If you do your placement right I think you could keep any soft or LPS coral that does okay with moderate lighting. If you want to keep certain Brain that likes to be on the bottom or want to keep SPS those lights probably arent going to cut it. Look at it this way from 6" above the bottom and up you have moderate lighting. From 18" and lower you have relatively low intensity lighting.
