What corals do you not have luck with?

So, I've had my tank since December and most things are doing well but I'm on my second iteration of Green Star Polyps. Now I know these are supposed to be easy but both times that I have gotten them they look great at the store but at home they come out very hesitantly and never fully and the first one just melted away. I have heard some have trouble with xenia but it grows well in my tank. So what is your personal coral waterloo?

orange pavona maldevensis. i have a small colony that's been in my tank for about a year, and it hasn't grown a millimeter. as a matter of fact, it fell into a candy cane colony, and got partially eaten, so now it's even smaller than when i got it.

OUCH....hopefully they will grow back to what you originally got them at.

GSP (yeah, really) and I bought a torch and it pretty much melted right away. (Even tho my hammer is doing fabulously) I have to say tho I've turned the odd piece of sps into a "Brownopora" they seem to all be growing well.
Oh...and my blue zoos....which are still alive and growing....but rather mud-coloured.
I'm not even sure why, my lights are more than adequate for most and I have many pieces that are quite vibrant, even some that we've rescued from the LFS that really blossomed....I guess you just can't win 'em all!
I'd like to try a duncan, I think they are beautiful. I've seen some really nice pics posted of them from members here, are they very difficult?

Wall hammer coral. 0 for 2, once a frag, once a 5" colony. I have other Euphyllia, 2 different frogspawn and a branching hammer that has gone from 3 heads to 12 in about a year. I love the wall look but, I have not figured out why it dies.

I appologize, I don't know the spectrum of the bulbs - the hardware is more my husband's thing, but it's 8x T5HO (the oldest bulb is 8 months)
They are actually near the bottom, but it is still pretty bright. Should I throw thenm in another tank we have tank with PC lighting only? They are growing...just ugly! ha ha
Your advice is appreciated :)

Or you can try a shaded spot in the tank they are in now. Mine are virtually hidden behind my anemone most of the day.
