it came in on a piece of LR that was attached to an anemone that I just bought. tried to get the best pictures I could. I circled it in the second pic. you can see where it looks to be attached to the rock.

anyone? it kind looks like some type of coral to me, but Im not positive. ill try to get better pics tomorrow when the halides are on

honeslty, it doesn't look like anything... maybe some skeleton or something. does it have polyp extensions?

sorry. don't know what you mean by polyp extensions. it doesn't look like anything is growing from it. it just looks out of place and it is covered with little holes that all seem to be about the same size. it also looks like it was attached to the rock, not like it is a piece of it.
