What do Feather Dusters look like when young?

I have a one month old tank with ~50 lbs of LR. Just yesterday did I see a small (1/8 in. dia. and 3 or 4 inches long) worm looking creature with a featherly end moving about the rock. Then I moved in for a closer inspection he darted back into a small diameter hole it "lived" in. Also spotted another one moving about on the back glass. Are these baby feather dusters????

THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF FEATHER DUSTERS, THE SOFT TUBE ONES AND THE HARD TUBE ONES. THE SMALL ONES THAT YOU ARE SEEING ARE PROBLY THE HARD ONES. ARE THE TUBES WHITE AND THE FEATHERY PART RED OR WHITE?

The tubes are flexible and are brown with a few small white dots on their skins. The feathers are white and very wispy.

Could this be what I'm seeing in my tank as well?
See my thread on this board "Earthworm in my LR"

Mine is about the same size and length but is more white with some light brown coloring here and there...haven't noticed any feathery bits (only appears at night and from different holes in this piece of LR).
Peace...
