I bought him a few days ago but he doesn't eat he just faces his head ib the back of the aquarium

You should never get a critter before you do your homework and know all of their needs. My book says varied diet of meaty foods...including chopped shrimp, squid, clams, enriched krill, and fish...feed no fewer then 3Xs a day.
I have never had a puffer, so the info is 100% book, no personal experience.
Most new fish won't eat for 24 hours, they are very stressed from being moved from another tank...and depending on how long the fish was in the store before you purchased it, expect him to be a little out of sorts. His whole world has changed, that takes some getting used to. I remember somebody told me they will eat pretty much anything that will fit in their mouth. LOL, and they have BIG mouths.
