What Do Red Serpent Stars Eat?

I just gave my LFS my green brittle star as he was getting way too big for my tank, and I had a fish go missing. They do have a small red serpent star in that looks cool. Was wondering what you guys/gals feed yours. And wondering if they're safe around smaller fish. Thanks!!

they are scavenger so you can just let them scavenge. If you feed them directly they grow faster and bigger.
