What do you all use for lighting?

I am setting up a 10g tank for my little brother, but it has only 16w HO lighting. Its a custom tank...about 12" wide or so. Anyone know of any kits or ways to upgrade my lighting for him?

If you could get back to me w/ the complete dimensions of the tank LXWXH might be able to offer some other solutions but here are a few ideas:
Try a 96W Power Comact 50/50 Quad is about 17" long for a retro fit kit OR you could do 2X32W (MIGHT be able to squeeze 3) Power Compact that are about 13". Thats the actual bulb length though. The fixtures will require a little more space. HTH

It'd be a squeeze but you can do 2X32W PC lighting you'd just have to build a canopy and buy a retro-fit kit (~$100).

I have the 20" Coralife 96W PC 50/50 quad hood on my 10G reef, I love and so do all my tank inhabitants. I know where you can get it for 89.95 + shipping if you're interested.:yes:

Not a bad idea, would be a little big for te tank. is it possible to hand the light? if you could make it a "pendant' it might look a little better than hanging over the edges.

Stapler - where did you get a 10g thats 15X9? It's not a hex is it?

I bought it at my LFS. Its a Jebo tank that is ready to run. The only reason I bought it was because it wasnt as long as the stock 10g tanks...so I could put it in a cubbie in my room.
Do you guys know where I could find a 75w MH pendant? That would work well for it.

No its not a hex...its a bowfront...a little taller than stock 10g.
