Well I feed them choped up shrimp, squid ,silversides,muscles and a frozen mix I make that has all this stuff blendded up with minced garlic and seaweed. they love it and well so far they are happy and keeping good coloring. infact heres some new pics this morning this guys name is butters. he's the smaller of my two SFE. both are hand feed by the way.

children haha....ive had my sfe for about 2 months and the lfs said that he feeds them the frozen brine shrimp that come in the cube(i know no real nutrients)

but i have been wanting to switch him over to something else i thought about silverside and squid..

if i had one i would feed it seafood i get from my parents

i feed my black moray, squid strips,silver slides ,krill and large raw shrimp , raw fish.he wont eat anything thats chopped

Grouper, salmon, squid, octo, tuna, swordfish...anything that's "wild caught" ocean fish.

I would have to imagine FOOD would be a good thing to feed your eels.
