Yep, that's basically it. They should be given a lot of different things. Formula A and B are always good, mysis shrimp will work, krill will be good when he gets bigger, nori/seaweed sheets is something they sometimes like to pick at, blood worms are good because they are small, prawn works well. Just make sure to include a variety of meats in their diet. Also, it is a good idea to give them something in a shell, such as a clam (grocery store), every so often to help them grind their teeth down.

make sure to do this. krill will also work if you feed him enough. their teeth are like rodents. they will grown and grow and if they arent ground down, they cant eat. theres a thread on here i believe and i think its called "puffer dentistry" and it talks about how to grind down thier teeth by anestithising (sp?) them and with a dremel if they get too long. this isnt something you want to do either.

I just had to take my valentini puffer in to the LFS becuase its teeth were too big. I had him for 2 yrs and his teeth grew to the point where he could not eat anything but flake and mashed frozen foods. Make sure you feed them something with a shell very often.

krill will work as if he eats a lot of it. i have had mine for about a year now and have been feeding him krill every day along with other thigns like formula one, prime reef, and squid. krill will work if you feed it regularly. a clam every once a while along with krill would be great though.
