Spotted Mushroom Coral and Button Polyps are safe also. We got some on our Marshall live rock, We started with one shroom and now have 7 ranging in size from 5"+ to itty bitty babies. Button Polyps are on a rock that keeps getting "moved" by the triggers so they aren't doing well. Our hermits (50 itty bitty, two nice size) are going strong only lost a couple to nibbling. The fish went nuts the first couple days, but the hermits found hiding spots and wait until night to come out. One crab took one snail 's shell, and one snail is deep, deep undercover, under the substrate.
So far so good. Would love to have star fish, but not until I get my reef tank.

im not sure about the lobster but i know crayfish dont last long with my niger or my humu.since the two are similar id bet to say it would probably end up as food.

I know that the mushroom corals are ok with triggers, the hermits are just fine, and the only thing that got to the snails were the crabs taking their shell, and button polyps are okay also. I don't know what the lion and eel will do to those though, as I haven't had either.
No starfish, cucmbers, anything that can't get in a shell and hide is done with the triggers.
I know the blue jaw/throat was kept in a reef tank at our lfs with no trouble.

I put a 10" Snowflake Eel in my 240 with a 2.5" purple lobster yesterday...they were the first critters in the new tank.....I acclimated them at noon yesterday. When I got home from work, I went into the fishroom to check on them. The purple lobster was in 4 pieces, head, tail, and 2 claws. The rest of him was gone. Since there are no other tank inhabitants, it's not too hard to figure out the culprit. Lesson learned for me, no lobsters with eels.......
