If I add a dsb and lr and a powerhead or 2, will this be good enough for a fowlr set up? I am looking for a small tank for the office.

in a tank that size, I would get a small wet/dry filter. I sea that you are going to the ls/lr, but an emporer 280 would be a good idea. The wisper is a 2 way filter and if you want to keep a few fish in there, you will need a 3 way. after some time, you may be able to take out the bio-wheel and let the rck/snd do all the filtration. other than that, seems fine.

i would too get the emporer, instead of the whisper, other thna that i would get different lighting, maybe pc's since it is only gonna be a fowlr, but standard flo's IMO are not adequate, nad you woll see abig difference in the tank, and the colors of your fish

screw the emporer and the whisper!! if you get a 29 gallon, the get a aquaclear 300 and a full size bag of chemi-pure! thats all you'll need except a power head or two!! do a search on the chemi-pure and you'll see why i would NEVER be without it!! every thing they say and claim about it is TRUE!!! it's the best product on earth.

Jester, how do you know that the whisper included in this set up is a 2 way filter? I did a search on that site and came up with only 3-way filters made by Whisper.
Also, would a emperor fit properly with this tank and lid?
