what do you think this is???

I hope I can describe this so that you get a good idea. It looks like a rolly polly bug but it is white. I saw it crawling around on my rock and my feather duster. Are they ok? If not, how do I irradicate them?

Does it look like a little shrimp about -- long and swims by moving it's butt? If so it is a amphipode and is good. Sign of a healthy tank and is food for your fish. Also breed quickly so you can't get rid of the easily.

I didn't see it swimming, only walking very fast on my feather duster. The size was about 2 centimeters and has lots of legs. my first thought was a rolly polly bug my kids play with only white or see through. it was moving very fast. Sorry I can't describe it any better than that.
