What does this mean?

"for the ph you want about a 15x TURNOVER" This was posted on another thread of mine. I am going to change my 35 gallon freshwater to a reef tank and this was an answer to the former question. No body told me what it means. please, please please tell me what this person ment.

ph is power head and 15x is the volume of your tank cycled through x 15 ie 35 gallon tank x 15 is 525 gallon per hour. Hope that helps

Thanx. Is that using it to power a UG filter or is that if it is just moving the water in the tank?

Just moving the water..I think most people will say never use a underground filter it will cause many problems.....HTH

All ready noted I had one on my 10 but have since added a power filter and turned off the UG filter.
