What eats bad algaes like green algae, but does not touch my good corline algae?

I rencently setup a 20 gallon long Reef tank and bought some live rock off Craigslist. The upside was it was cheap & has some of the better coraline i have ever seen... the downside is that it was being taken over by green algae. I would like to get rid of just the green algae but not my good algaes. I have done research on emerald crabs, nudi's, sea hares, turbo snails, etc. What is the answer to my problem? Thanks

So the sea hare will only stick to the green algae?
Thats what i was thinking, put my LFS does not have any nor does this site or if they do i can't find what category they are in. Anyways, also having concerns about the fact that the sea hare would be a one time temporary fix, not a regular member of the tank that keeps it down. Afterall, do not want the hare to mow through it all & then starve to death, could sell after it does the job. thanks for the reply!

a few mexican turbo snails and a queen conch will clean it up and leave the coraline alone.

I'll second the mexican turbos... they are algae eating mothers. Hermits are pretty good at this too. I have two mexicans and two queen conch in my 46g.

all right, my reef is only a 20 long with 25 lbs of LR, so get 2 mexican turbos, 1 queen conch & some hermits? Will the queen eat my coraline?

if youre just setting it up, i would get a 5 gallon bucket with SW in it, get a toothbrush and scrub the crap out of it, this seems to work for me when i do my monthly tank scrubs

my lr came with hair too i clean it in a 5 gal bucket then got a couple of turbo snails to keep it down. the only thing is time the scrub with a water change ad wash the lr with the tank water in the bucket before u discard the water
