What eats the poop?

Ok. THey are on the bottom. My hermits pick at them, but do I need to vacuum them up, or leave them in the system and let the little pods get to em? (have seen little white pods over my powerheads). Just wondering.
Tank params are normal. No overfeeding going on either? Any suggestions?

If we are talking about a sand substrate then you could lightly syphon them up without disturbing the sand bed. Or leave them for the pods and worms that come out at night to help process them, in turn they will leave behind little tiny pod poops of thier own for the sandbed to process.
I would also caution you to not overfeed.]
Keep good water movement, and an active skimmer going.
